CDVI Americas is pleased to announce the launch of PROMI, a new stand-alone keypad and card reader designed to make secure access control more accessible, flexible, and cost-effective.
PROMI provides a simple way to upgrade stand-alone access control while supporting both 13.56 MHz and legacy 125 kHz proximity credentials. This dual-frequency capability gives installers and end users greater flexibility when modernizing existing systems, without requiring an immediate replacement of all existing credentials.
Designed for straightforward installation and everyday reliability, PROMI combines PIN code and card access in a compact solution suitable for a wide range of commercial doors and controlled entry points. PROMI also makes future system expansion simple. With the press of a button, the keypad can be switched from stand-alone operation to Wiegand mode, allowing it to connect to a compatible access control system. This gives installers the flexibility to start with a stand-alone solution today and upgrade to a centralized access control system later without replacing the keypad.
