Global security technology manufacturer CDVI has relaunched its DIGIWAY door automation range, with refreshed branding as well as exciting new functionality.

DIGIWAY was established in 2006 to provide automatic door systems for swing doors. Beginning with DIGIWAY Plus and progressing to DIGIWAY SR for heavier, wider doors and higher traffic usage, DIGIWAY has evolved since its inception to include a range of new features. Both units are now Bluetooth enabled and count numerous advanced settings.

The newly available DWAA articulated arm improves both compatibility and aesthetics. The DWAA is cross-compatible for both DIGIWAY Plus and DIGIWAY SR operators.

The DWAA increases the maximum door opening angle with a separate extension module, and improves on the previous model by adding two spherical joints. In addition, the new sliding mechanism makes adjusting the arm much easier.

Manufactured in stainless steel, the new articulated arm offers a smoother, more discreet appearance with rounded edges.

“The new articulated arm is an excellent development for the DIGIWAY range. It looks better, works better, and fits more doors than the previous model. The DWAA will allow installers of DIGIWAY to win more projects and install high quality, high performance solutions for their customers.” – Paul Ramsay, General Manager, CDVI UK

The new DWAA articulated arm will be available in the UK from 1st July 2021.

Installers, engineers, and apprentices can attend CPD-certified DIGIWAY training sessions for free, either virtually or on-site at our dedicated training facility in High Wycombe. The courses cover an overview of the DIGIWAY system, the relevant rules and regulations for automated doors, and an in-depth look at how to successfully and safely install DIGIWAY solutions.
